I got my surgery in Sept 2013 am now nearly 2 years out. I went back and forth like a crazy person too. I used Medicaltourism.com and Hazel Ramos was my facilitator Dr. Ismeal Cabrera was my doctor, although I hardly remember him at all. Everything about my trip to Tijuana was exactly like I expected. You are not in a US hospital so don't expect that. It's like a very pared down same day surgery center. Mine was super clean and I stayed there 2 nights then went back to my hotel which was lovely but all I did basically was sleep there and had a few bowls of broth. Really no pain involved, was up and walking around the same day as surgery. I went from a size 18 to an 8 it has not been any effort at all for me, the weight just fell off. I can eat anything I want since I only have a few bites and am completely satisfied. Going out to eat is NO problem, no one really cares what you eat, have an appetizer for dinner and enjoy the company. I exercise regularly by walking and doing Yoga several time a week. Since I have kept the weight off for 2 years in in a few weeks will have a tummy tuck and some lipo. I am truly, truly happy I did this. My life has changed so much. I actually wanted to die I was so unhappy when I was heavy, now I'm going kayaking with my husband. DO it, you will not be sorry! email with any questions. Good luck! I'll write more later but I would do this again in one second its been the best thing I've ever done in my life simply for myself and my family has benefited greatly
I'm from Florida as well! and I'm driving myself crazy if going to MX for this is right. I tend to over think everthing. Lol I'm be best "but what if" talker I'd like to know how so more info from you about going to MX for this?
