  1. Bettina, Good luck with your upcoming surgery, I had the same Dr. and everything went great. A little over 14 months out and 0 complications. As for the loose skin you are going to HAVE to exercise no matter what and get in ALL of your protein. It's not going to be easy and I made the horrid mistake of not working out in the beginning and now I'm playing catch up. I moved into a new home and gutted that home while living in it right after my surgery. I was so consumed with all of that for like 6 months I put myself on the back burner. It was totally not my intention as I had a plan for working out as soon as I could but my Husband got fired right before my surgery and we had to get rid of the house so life really through us a curve ball. Everything worked out for the absolute best and we couldn't be happier I just get so upset that I didn't exercise like I had thought or take my measurements or take a million before pictures. Oh well life goes on but please make sure you do all of those things so you don't have any regrets. I don't know if you can bring workout bands to work with you but maybe while your sitting you can put them around your ankles and just pull your feet apart this way your working on your calve and thigh muscles while sitting at your desk. Things like that will make a huge difference in the end. Also look into some good skin tightening lotions and creams and be religious about applying them every day. I hope this helps and best of luck!
