  1. No real issues. The first two weeks I had diarrhea, but that's normal and it does stop. I was in one night and left in the afternoon. I had to have a leak test in the morning and then they start you on solid fluids to see how you do with that. Then after pureed food for the second meal, if you do ok, they release you. I stayed out of work for two weeks. It was a perfect amount of time. From what I understand, sleeve patients don't experience dumping syndrome. I think as long as you stay within the guidelines they give you, you should be fine. Let me know if you have any more questions.
  2. Thank you for your reply to my post. I have heard nice things about Dr Holover and have u experienced any issues since your surgery? How long we're u in the hospital? And when did u return to work? I work for the airline industry in JFK and I'm afraid of the dumping syndrome I hear about I don't want to be in the middle of boarding my flight and have to GO!!
