I had the very same experience.I shared only with my husband. For me,it was a decision well made.You can always chose to tell people later when your ready,but sometimes people will fault you rather than support your decision. For me it was totally about my health and not really anyone elses business. I know in my heart family and friends would have thought this was the easy way out.Guess what...it takes a lot of work! It takes to much energy fighting naysayers.I'd rather concentrate on LOSING my baggage. GOOD luck to you on you journey.
