Thank you! Unfortunately, my surgery got postponed at almost the last minute because it was found in my pre-op blood work that my white blood cell count was 12.9 (the cut-off for surgery is 10). I was devastated because I've had my whole life planned around having surgery today, and at the point when I found out that we had to reschedule, I had been on clear liquids for 10 days!

I went to my family doctor yesterday because I have a swollen lymph node in my armpit (hopefully it's the reason for the high WBC). He gave me an antibiotic for 10 days and then I have to repeat the blood work. Surgery is tentatively rescheduled for March 15th.
