My family came to their own conclusions as usual. I never told them anything! My younger sister started using drugs five years ago because she heard that it will take her weight down. It did do that but she is an addict and looks awful.

So, some actually accused me of using drugs when my weight dropped. Lol, Lol, Lol Absurd!
They know I don't drink, smoke, never did nothing but Rx drug and won't take them most of the time.

Forget them, this is all about you getting your self-esteem back. You can't love your neighbor unless you have a good pure non-narcissistic love of yourself.

I don't eat with them anymore and tell them how bad their company is for me! They are all over 250 lbs and they tease skinny people. Ignorance!

I am so excited for you! Can't wait to hear how happy you will be....

You are going to be fine! I too opted not to tell anyone of my surgery. Many people have no idea how emotionally stressed were may have been for decades in my case. Growing up around constant critics creates a lot of inner turmoil. You will be just fine......
