  1. Hi Jennifer, Getting the sleeve was the hardest and best thing I have ever done! I know it sounds confusing, but after years and years of struggling with weight issues including attending surgery seminars, it wasn't until I went through counseling that I was able to flip the switch. I was finally able to stop thinking about the things I would have to give up and was able to start planning all of the things that I will be able to do after the weight comes off. Things like riding on a roller coaster, driving a sports cars, fitting into a booth in a restaurant!! The hardest part was having the motivation and the discipline to stick with the program. Now that I am 2+ weeks post op, I would do it again in a heartbeat. I was very fortunate to not have any issues what so ever. I feel great and the weight is dripping off. Good luck to you on your journey or in your decision, whichever position you're in. Keep us posted.
  2. Thank you for the welcome!
