I am almost three months out from surgery and have found that what I can eat is limited. Meats appear to be off limits except for seafood. I am however getting my gallbladder out on February 1st as I've been having nausea and pain for a few weeks. My favorite snack right now happens to be dill pickle spears with salt and pepper. So after feeling like crap all week and knowing that I could feel a whole lot better I went to the ER on NYE. What I found out confirmed that I should be concerned. First, my potassium was low even though i am on meds for it, second I have a UTI (had no clue but when I gave a urine sample it was brown ), third i have sludge in my gallbladder even though I'm on medication for that as well. My surgery date was 11/6/17 but this past week I haven't been myself. Down in the dumps, no appetite, when I eat feeling nauseous!! I'm not one to complain usually I'm a very upbeat person but not this week. I'm tired of not being able to eat more than a few bites or drink what I want. i'm just tired in general...want to get in my bed and never get out. 36lbs and 14 inches gone and I should be happy with the way things are going.
