LOVE this. Teenage boys mostly don't even notice their mothers, in my experience. You have a great son! And isn't it wonderful when our children are proud of us?
So great to hear how well you are doing its so awesome! xxx
Oh my goodness. My favorite part of your post is how your son is gushing over you. It just melts my heart. <3 That is super sweet. So glad it is all going so well for you. Fun on the karate. I used to take Tae Kwon Do when I was younger so I get the enjoyment. And good luck on the Rock and Roll. I did it here in San Antonio and will be doing it again this December.
"I got my life back." How I love this statement! Your post is so wonderfully positive. Your NSV's are fabulous. It's all such fun isn't it?!
Looking fabulous!! And that color will be awesome!!!
Look at you gorgeous! You're going great!!! Love the hairdo! Ignore the stalls yup xx
OMG yes do it!!! You will have so much fun doing races!! And the obstacle races are my absolute favorite. Once you complete one you will feel so accomplished. I can't wait to hear all about it!! Excited for you!
I'm still sticking to the weight thing, I would love to lose 10 more pounds. I'm at the high end of the healthy BMI and would prefer to be closer to the middle!
Sounds like a good plan, healthy and strong is the way to go!
You looked absolutely beautiful! Isn't it amazing how much better we feel and look post op? Sounds great about the dinner. I know exactly what you mean about before foods. I am still surprised how little I eat versus how much I used to. I look at people's big plates of food and remember eating that much and more. The constant picking when I was "done" eating. I cringe now thinking about it. Sleeved life is so much better and healthier. So glad you are enjoying your sleeve. And I totally hear you on shopping for the kiddos. My kids are getting the same way. Mostly they are just wanting money or gift cards. They had very few gifts on their wish list so going through that myself. I don't like to just give cash/gift cards. I love to buy the perfect present. Once again, you looked gorgeous!! Congrats!
You are beautiful! A filet is my favorite steak and a yummy restaurant option. Now you can have leftovers today. Or maybe steak and eggs. I think a supportive partner is probably the most important part of this journey. I couldn't have done it without mine, and it sounds like you have an amazing guy too! A positive attitude is also important and you have that down also. Isn't it fun? Have a very Merry Christmas! I hate shopping but did sit in front of my computer yesterday for the 6 grandkids. My three grown children just get money. My 91 year old mom is still up in the air. I did get her a plane ticket to come visit and see her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Now if she can just stay healthy enough to get on the plane.
Ahhhh you look a perfect picture :-)

I love Eminem and Tupac.
Great song and it is a motivational one to listen to while exercising! I like the choice.

I can't wait to get back into running. I have to let my knee heal, though.

Stacey done called out the Brittany Spears!!! I LOVE a lot of her songs...well, at least her early days. Lol. I’ve never been a huge Tupac fan except for California Love and How Do You want It. I’ll have to go back and listen to Changes...thanks for the recommendation!
I love eminem. I think his songs have helped a lot of people out at times. I don't mind the language but it's not everyones cup of tea lol. I was lolling the other day about some of the songs we have on our playlists. I actually have 'HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME' LOLLLL but I love it and i think it's an excellent pop song! :-) A great song for the treadmill is changes tupac :-)

astallons ... what a wonderful post. You've got so many resources, including your incredibly supportive husband. What a good guy he is. (I've got one of those, too. ) Your joy is so infectious, and it's obvious that you're basically a joyful person who's finally getting back in touch with your source of all of that. To quote Auntie Mame, "Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85pJXaiXOBU
Nawwwwwww your husband is a peach!!!!! So nice! I love the description of your christmas outing every year, how gorgeous! I think this turkey trot thing is so cute! did you see Christies medal from hers? I have total medal jealousy! Congratulations on your fabulous weight loss, you look goegeous :-)
OMG!!! Your husband is so sweet for being so supportive and showing you all your hard work is paying off!! Big kudos to him!! And you are down to a 14 from a 20 in just 2 1/2 months. That is fan-freaking-tastic! Looks like you have found the joy of exercising! Best thing you can do for yourself. It makes you healthy and in my opinion sane. When I work out it is my therapy time. Time to think about anything going on in my life and decisions I need to make. Time to reflect on how lucky I am to have a second chance and being and STAYING healthy!! Congrats on your Turkey Trot! What a wonderful way to bond with your daughter! Showing her how to live a healthy life. I am so happy for you. Just remember...this is just the beginning. Life is going to get sweeter and sweeter. Congrats to you! PS-Thanks for the nice shout out!
Such fun non-scale victories. This is a magnificent gift we've given to ourselves. As a WLS friend of mine says, "Hug your skinny!"
WTG!!! You are doing great! I can tell you that changing to "overweight" is freaking awesome. Before you know it you will be in a "healthy" BMI.
Wow! Wtg. I hate the term morbidly obese, which is what I've been told that I'm in. Even obese sucks. When I get down to where you're at, I am trading in my granny nighties for some sexy lingerie too. Well done!
