  1. Taking a break from the board

    I'm having some trouble relating lately to others' journeys.
    I'm going to take a break from the board and from counting and numbers.
    Counting oz of liquids, grams of protein, calories, oz of food portions, minutes between liquids and meals, oz and lbs on the scale, bmi, % lost, % left to lose, number of weeks, goals per week, etc.

    I just need some time away from numbers and to find out what works for me.
    But I'll be back to give an update at some point!

  2. When will I stop regretting surgery?

    I'm in month 3, so it's still early I guess, but wondering when people stop regretting surgery. Last year I was size 4 in jeans, and instead of exercising and going on a diet, I let my weight creep up to a 10/12.

    Now that I have the sleeve, I should be happy, but I lose weight so slowly that the past couple days I didn't have the energy to sip sip sip all day, and instead ate sugar. It didn't even taste good.

  3. I ate so much sugar today

    I don't even like sweet stuff anymore so not sure why I kept eating it.
    Bad bad bad

    Tomorrow I'll be more careful.
    Also revisiting my fridge/ freezer to throw out sugary stuff.
  4. Darn it

    I discovered my cable and internet are out, and after troubleshooting on my own and calling the service, they booked a technician to come out tomorrow afternoon. I'm really bummed that I had to cancel my massage appointment.
    But I hope my service gets resolved! I need it to work bc I have work this weekend and early Monday meeting.

    I left an event early tonight because I was cold and my stomach didn't feel well and I was tired from my flight this morning.

  5. Finding foods I can eat

    I'm procrastinating all the office work and packing I have ahead of me tonight. Ugh..

    Here are some foods I can eat these days:

    Cheeses (like baby bell)
    Toasted English muffin
    Mini banana w peanut butter
    Ricotta
    Berries (blackberries, blueberries)
    Deli ham
    Deli turkey
    Shrimp (sometimes I can, sometimes no)
    KFC grilled chicken drumstick (I had last week one night for dinner), 1/2 biscuit
