    Had my surgery 2/06 and feeling good. I was very nauseas after surgery but that was because of the anesthesia and after getting some meds was comfortable. Started doing laps late last night and continued walking this morning. Overall not nearly as painful as I was expecting.

    Calm before the storm...?

    Is this the calm before the storm of emotions?

    I'm very at peace with my decision to have surgery. I'm not nervous about going under or having someone cut out part of my stomach, not even the idea of pain that will follow has me shaken. Is that normal, have other people experience a sense of peace about surgery? I've always been that type of person though, once i've made my decision about something and know all the factors that go along with said decision I just keep ...
