  1. WOO HOO!!!! Finally hit 100 pounds down!

I am almost 8 months out and as of this morning am down 100 POUNDS!!!

The last 3-4 pounds have taken what felt like FOREVER but none the less, I did it! I am officially 3 pounds less than when I got married 23 years ago. I am 11 pounds from where the doctor wants me, 21 from where I want me. At this point, I will be thrilled beyond belief if I am just down another 10 pounds by year end! Its ok that its going slower now, I am not starving myself or depriving myself of things that ...
  2. longest stall since surgery....know its normal but lets be real...its pissing me off!

Ok, I am 7.5 months out and have been sitting at the same weight for about 3.5 weeks. I know this is normal. I know my body is adjusting, I know it will start again...I get it. But that does not change that its so fricking aggravating.

I am 14 pounds from my doctors goal, 24 from mine. I really wanted to be at the doctors goal by Christmas and I am not feeling like that is going to happen. I am thinking of going old school back to all liquid for a few days but dang, that really is ...
  3. Moringa Oliefera .... anyone tried it?

I have been hearing alot of hype about the vitamin/superfood Moringa Oliefera and I was just wandering if any of you have tried it, and if so, results?

I'm 7.5 months out, doing very well but getting a little bored with the routine and could use a little more energy. I am also prone to the fall/winter colds that come around and this stuff is suppose to be great for your immune system too so I was curious if any post surgery folks had tried it.

    I guess we are all a ...
  4. 6 months out and WOW has life changed!

Hello Everyone, haven't blogged in a while but that's because life has kept me and my family busy!

I am a little over 6 months out now and am down 93 pounds! WOO HOO!!! I expect to be at 100 pounds down by the time I hit 7 months. Total I have 18 more pounds to go to hit my doctors goal weight and 28 to hit MY goal weight. I know I can do that as I was 36 pounds light than I am now 5 years ago.

Food is still a challenge as I get full so quickly. I'm happy about ...
  5. vacationing post sleeve...yes you can, and you can eat and still lose weight!

i'm 20 weeks out and before surgery I thought...oh goodness, what about family vaca's?!?! You know, those times when we eat like crap and gain 10 pounds?!?!? Well summer was rapidly approaching so how was I going to get through it?

Well, summer is almost over (well, not technically but school is about to start)...I have been to Vegas, Savannah, GA, and Tampa/St Pete. I even ate at Paula Deen's famous restaurant Lady and Son's while in Savannah. I have enjoyed a glass of wine or two ...
