  1. Went out last night with friends first time since surgery

    I have lost 22 lbs since my surgery. It don't sound like a lot but while getting dressed last night to go out I was amazed at how different my clothes fit. When we met our friends whom don't know I had the surgery they all kept saying did you lose weight?? I would smile and wink at my husband. It was a great feeling that others who haven't seen me in a few weeks noticed. I can't wait till the next time.
  2. Halibut and red potatoes

    I had to share my first post surgery meal. I made halibut and red potatoes. Marinated the halibut in lemon juice,olive oil,salt,pepper,garlic, parsley and basil. It was the first time I tried halibut and I loved it. It's very high in protein and very soft to digest. Red pototoes have less calories and higher in protein then white.
