  1. 2 wk post op

Well, I'm up early and getting ready to head to the city for my 2 week post op. I have mixed emotions and a ton of questions. I'm trying to make notes of everything, so I don't forget to ask. This place has been a true life line the last 2 weeks and I could never say thank you enough. I will up date when I get back.
  2. Feeling overwhelmed

I don't know if it's everything hitting me at once or just a side effect of the surgery but wow I'm feeling over whelmed and beat up. Had surgery, then constipated, started my period and now have a UTI from the catheter. Feeling sick every time I have to do my blood thinner shots or get my crushed medications & vitamins down. 3. First Menstruation after surgery....

OK this is a hard topic but got no one else really to ask and can't find nothing on line. I started my monthly and I'm on blood thinners, so this it really weird. Plus I'm dropping weight really fast and my diet isn't the same. So does ANYONE have any experience or advise they could offer ?? This is so far from a "normal" cycle that I really don't know what to make of it or if I should be worried???? Sorry again, I know this isn't the best subject.........
  4. So maybe It's working too well??

The only real problem I'm running into so far it that I'm REALLY not hungry, except for only a few times now. I know that's what the surgery is suppose to do but it's hard to meet my water and protein intake when I'm having to force myself. It's not pain full unless I take too big of a drink or bite. I don't know if it makes a difference that I was fast tracked into surgery and only had just under 2 weeks on the pre-op diet but I didn't experience the starving that I've read so much about. Don't ...
