In Mexico enjoying a family vacation. Pre surgery comming to a beach vacation would have been uncomfortable. Both mentally and physically. This time it's pure greatness. I am almost 9 months out from WLS. I have gone from a size 26/28 to a junior size 12. I can run and jump. Most importantly I can play with my little ones and tire them out. It's wonderful. everyone is telling me not to lose more weight, that i look great like this. My hubby who was so opposed to surgery tells me i'm beautiful several times a day. I got sleeved on 10/15. My journey hasn't been perfect. I have a few slip ups a week. But, I don't mind. I'm going to live. Living is never done perfectly. With that said. I am down 103 lbs. still have my ways to go but even of my weight loss stopped here it would have been worth it. But im still not done. What's better than the #'s? The way my parents look at me when they see me. They look relieved and even younger not having to worry about my weight. The smile on their faces is so great to see. ...

For the last 5 years or so my weight has been so out of control I have held back from doing so much. Haven't been to an amusement park in 6 years because the last time I went they made me wait because the fat seat on the rise was taken. My sister, brother in law and husband were with me and we all had to stand aside and wait. So embarrassing. Last time we went horseback riding I stayed back in fear of hurting the horse. I have always loved riding.

I was sleeved on Oct. 15th. I have to say it was one of the best decisions of my life. I am down 78lbs. I feel great. Better than I did last time I was at this weight 5-6 years ago. I have the energy of a kid (with the exception of this last weekend) and I am loving every bit of it. I still don't get hungry ever and am finally getting that full feeling, I never got that feeling for maybe 1 1/2 months.
