    My Story 10 years lapband and revision now in 2014

    I had my lapband because of an illness related weight gain in 2004 and will get a revision to the gastric sleeve this year after 10 years. I had lost the 100 pounds after about 4 years but started to develop various band related problems after that. For the last 5 years my band was more open then closed. So I gained back but stayed at a 50 - 60 pound loss.
    I hope the sleeve will work for me as much as for all the other people I have read about across the entire internet.
