  1. Why I regret my sleeve.

WARNING! THIS POST CONTAINS GRAPHIC LANGUAGE AND CONTENT! PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

I had the gastric sleeve 12-31-13. I was very active in these forums because from the moment I opened my eyes after surgery, I knew I had made a mistake. Maybe I chose the wrong surgery center, maybe it is because I am bi-polar, but opening my eyes to a world of fog and being told to "walk it off" when I couldn't even stand without getting light-headed...well, lets just say ...
  2. Weight loss surgery and buyers remorse (regret)

So, life has been crazy and I have been gone for a really long time. I promise, the second I get FIVE minutes to sit down and update people I will!

The title is the name of a small group that I started on Facebook. I have found that many people (on this site and others), aren't very kind about those of us who don't love our sleeve, who regret our surgery, and who need extra help to get through this.

So, I made a group for those of us who need that extra help, that extra ...
  3. Wow...the scale shocked me this morning.

I am back from my trip to Florida. The morning I left (3/10) I was 183 and the morning after I got back (3/18) I was 181.4. So, I have officially lost 40 pounds...and I only have 43 pounds to goal. Now, I am only nine weeks out AND I am 5' 7.75". I have a very bad feeling that I am going to go underweight before I stop losing.

My doctors didn't anticipate this, I didn't anticipate this, and frankly...it worries me. I am enjoying the four sizes down and it seems like there is almost a daily NSV...

Like yesterday. I was at the grocery ...
  5. SO....I have decided to fly solo for the rest of my journey.

If you have followed my blogs, you know that things have been rough with my surgeons office. I accidentally missed my last appointment and I think that may have been for the best.

Life is crazy busy right now anyhow. I am getting ready to release book #3, my house is on the market, I leave for my trip to Florida in a few weeks, and I am trying to get pre-approved for a loan before I get to Florida so I can look at houses while I am down there.

    My Bi-Polar is FINALLY ...
