Are you allowed to have visitors at the hospital?

I was wondering because my aunt and FH will of course be there but I wasn't sure if they were able to stay there. Also did anyone have to share a room after surgery when you stayed the night?

    My hubby and mom stayed night with me. N room was private... good luck..

    I mom and husband were there most of the time hubby stayed the night mom went home had my own room

    My husband stayed with me the entire 3 days I was there, I had a huge private room and I don't think they would mind..actually all the ladies on my floor had people staying with them, at least 1 person. =)
