  2. Protein

    Does anybody else have trouble getting their protein drinks in the first week POST op? I'm trying to hard to get in my water and protein but protein drinks dry my mouth out so bad, and that makes me nauseous, so I stop sipping it so I don't vomit. 😩😩 how important is protein the first week?

    Hi everyone,

    Doing my preop diet, and kind of nervous because I've been so stressed out lately, want to make sure all a going to be ok. Been planning baby shower for my step daughter which is today thank goodness and will be off my to do list, next week graduation dinner for my niece who we are raising..and 3 months my daughters quince and last but not least my in laws 50th. Plus with work added to this I'm super stressed, is this going to hurt me in the long run?

  4. Breasts after surgery

    I haven't been on in a while, but I wanted to share my current experience. I am down to 202 lbs from my original weight of 275 since my surgery in August 2016. I feel so much better and am able to work and get around.

    However, last month I found a rather large lump in my right breast. I feel like it must have been there the whole time and I was not able to feel it under all of that weight. Now it seems that a whole new worry has come over me. I go in on the 5th to talk to a ...
