I can't believe it. My day is finally here! I feel like I've waited forever, when in reality it's been less than five months since I started this journey. I'm feeling so many things right now - nerves, anxiety, excitement, happiness -- I'm just so glad that this day is finally here, and I'm starting this new chapter in my life.

My parents will be here in about an hour to pick me up, I'm going to make them take a few "before" pictures of me, and we'll be on our way! I have to arrive at the hospital at 8:30 for my 10:30 am surgery. I'll try to update ASAP.

See you all on the sleeved side, and save a seat for me on the loser's bench! FINALLY!!
