    My weight loss has asked but who can possibly keep up that rate of loss and be healthy? I would like to lose another 25 to 30 lbs and sit there for awhile before I consider plastic surgery...for now 3 days at the gym are helping my tone as much as I can...

    Happy to report I am doing great at 8 months post op. 126 lbs down..116 post op.
  3. 6 months out.....

    So happy to have six months behind me....I can eat just about anything except for rice with great restriction, rice feels yucky. I am 96 lbs down since surgery...106 in total. I think another 40 to 50 would be perfect, maybe less. The weight loss has slowed down and I seem to hang out at a weight for two or three weeks then have a five or six lb drop. For anyone in their beginning stage of this journey.....hang in there....the first few weeks are difficult and it seems like such a chore to keep ...
  4. I look like Linda Ronstandt again!

    I went to the pub with my husband Friday night....interestingly enough Keith Carridine was playing with a local band that night so it was packed. A lot of people who haven't seen me were there....I am down over 100 lbs so a few were quite shocked....someone said I look like Linda Ronstandt...I use to hear that constantly, hasn't heard it in over a decade...it was music to my ears! Haha no pun intended!

    I am about where I thought I might be thinking ahead to this time back in the winter months .....I had a hard time the first couple of weeks. Extreme regret and anxiety. I came on this forum often in tears asking for advice and comfort and it was my saving grace. the members of this forum for me through those scary couple of weeks when I was wishing I hadn't done the sleeve. For those reading this on the fence or just out from surgery......I love my sleeve! I love the restriction it gives me ...
