    Surgery completed Feb 5th and everything went very well. The nurses, staff, facilities at St. David's in Austin, Texas were amazing and highly recommended.
    My surgeon Dr. Mark Sherrod was wonderful and made the entire experience an excellent learning lesson for me. Incidentally, my surgeon, the hospital and anesthesiologist have got togeather and made an attractive package price for those that are on self pay like myself and it is one of the best I have seen in the US.

    The long countdown is finally drawing near and tomorrow is my last day on the Pre Op diet before the liquids only day and then surgery on Thursday.

    I went for my Pre Op appointment at St. Davids today, which was great as you can take care of all the paperwork, go over meds current, pre surgery and post surgery, met with the Anesthesiologist and then had to have my blood work redone, as results are only good for 60 days, this was a little stressful, as my veins hid from every needle, ...
