Zen-like moment

It's getting on the cool side up North, so I went to take out my winter clothes and put away the short sleeve shirts & summer clothes.

I lost so much weight since February that all of my long sleeve shirts were way too big.
They were all 3XL or 2XL; I presently, comfortably, wear XL.

I bagged them up and will donate them to Savers (A chain of stores selling 2nd hand items, with the small net profits going to charities).

The reason I say it was a "Zen-like moment" as I was bagging up the clothes, is because many of these items were too tight to wear, now all of them are too big!
Also I am telling myself I will never let myself get obese again and I am metaphorically throwing away that image of myself.

That is so awesome! I know that you have to be excited for this. I told my husband that I do not want clothes of any kind for Christmas. Normally, I would. I have enough fat clothes and I don't intend to need them after this winter. Congrats on the NSV!

Congrats!! I know winter is right around the corner lol What's funny is that I just gave away a lot of clothes that was too small for me, I'm planning on surgery in Jan and now I'm thinking what am I going to wear when the weight comes off now lol
