50lbs and still going

I am in shocked and with pure excitement, this week I hit the 50lb mark. So much has happened in the last couple of months. My body has changed so much but my mind still needs to catch up. Yesterday, I wore a dress to work (with a belt, it has been forever since I had a belt on!) that flowed along the curves of my body (not tight). Before I left the house I almost took it off several times or put a sweater over it to hid. I am glad I let the dress be, the response I got made me feel good but a little embarrassed at times.
My biggest challenge so far with this journey has been me fighting with my mind… It has not caught up to what my body is looking like or what it can do now. I started yoga this week… It is hard! Non-stop my mind keeps saying that my body can’t do that, no way! Then I try and to my surprise I did it.

I can relate, my mind is a few miles behind my body. I ride the bus to work, and when I was big I wouldn't sit down because I couldn't fit in the seats. A few months ago I was on the bus and a coworker offered me a seat. I said " No, I can't fit." TShe looked at me like I was crazy!!! LOL, then I looked down at the seat and looked down at myself and said "Oh, yeah I can fit now" LOL!!!
