Snow Cones!!!

Hey Yall! My surgery is just around the corner (7-13-11) and I have been struggling with the 2 week liquid post op diet. I know this is for the best and I have a long road ahead of me. One day at a time!
But today was a good day! My BF brought home a mini snow cone machine which was only $20 at walmart along with sugar free snow cone syrup. 0 cal 0 sugar 0 everything! I guess it's the little things right now...lol. I know he sees that I am getting anxious and a little irritable waiting. I'm just glad I have his and your support to get through this!

I did the same thing. I actually bought the Ninja blender because I figured I could puree my food in it also. I've totally enjoyed the sugar free snow cones especially after surgery. It helped me to get my liquids in.

Thanks for the tip....I bought my niece the hand crank one last year with a bunch of syrups.......was thinking of upgrading her.....think I just might and then she can make me lots of snowcones when I get home !! ( will have to buy me the sugar free syrups too !!) Good luck !

I love my local snow cone man. He has a sugar free strawberry that I have not tried yet, but the sugar free wedding cake was pretty good. It was hard not to order my usual(before vsg) cotton candy with eagle brand milk. But, in this Louisiana heat, it was good!!
