I went today to see the dietician and I was so nervous that I hadn't lost any weight. It is so hard for me too but when I got on the scale I was seven (7) pounds lighter. I almost died!! I have been following a low carb diet and getting use to the protein shakes. The doctor wanted me to lose like 25 pounds before the surgery.
The diet wasn't bad, I have been making better choices to eat and I am ok. I m just so anxious to get my approval for the surgery. Does it usually take this long? It seems that I am the last to get it. My insurance hasn't said anything and the nurse thinks my insurance will cover. I am feeling so overwhelmed.
Can someone offer me some advice on my diet so I can lose weight? You guys have been so awesome!
