My name is Lorna Murray. I am having weight loss surgery the (Sleeve on 28th January. Has any one had it did it work and is it painful? I have lost 8 stone already, with another 8 stone to loose, because of health reasons.

People who have had it does it affect your spine for worse going forward? I already have 20 pounds of loose fat skin, never mind what is to come.

The first week is the worst. The surgery itself was not painful. I was prescribed an anti nausea and pain reliever after surgery. I only used each about 3 times during the first week post op and that was it. It is different for everyone, though.
