My name is Krista and I will be having a VSG in feb or early march. I had my psych eval this morning and my appt with my surgeon next week. I'm so excited to put this part of my life behind me and become a healthier mom!

Hi Krista,
Your VSG must be coming up soon? congratulations!
I am in Portland and have just made the decision to have VSG. I am now trying to figure out where and when.I am hoping to have it done this spring. I will be self pay as my insurance covers no bariatric procedures.
I am also motivated to become a more energetic mama to my eight year old daughter. I turn 50 this fall and want to ring in my next decade with more energy and some relief from my obesity related health issues.
Two questions-where are you having your surgery?
Is there any type of PNW community for VSG'ers either on this forum or others that I can check out? There is some older stuff that I have found but nothing current. It may be right under my nose as I am a low tech girl in a high tech world!
