Well, I finally made it to Onederland and am so happy! I know that without this surgery I would not have gotten here. I can honestly say that this was the best thing that I've ever done for myself. I have been trying to get to this weight for almost five years and have failed in the past. I know that I am fortunate because I had absolutely no complications, but I would encourage anyone who is considering this procedure to do it. It has changed my life! I no longer have any desire to eat foods that are unhealthy. My whole family is benefiting from my new way of cooking/eating.

I'm only 1 week post-op but am feeling the same. Best thing I've ever done for myself.HW: 297+lbs ( stopped weighing myself, it was probably 318 ish)
Pre-op: 280 lbs (-17 lbs)
CW: 142 lbs -Down 178 lbs from my highest actual weight!
