Default I'm new to the forum. But two and a half years sleeved

    Well hello there,

I had surgery June 4th, 2014. I've been maintaining. I'm at the high end of my bounce range right now. Starting to step things up to get my winter weight down. My weight seems to come off much slower since goal. looking for support shaking my stuborn 10 to 15 pounds.

No more shock and awe from weight loss. Life has become pretty normal. My goal was to do a 5K distance run in memory of my mother who passed from cancer. I met that goal and continue to run. Completed a half marathon last year. Getting ready for a full marathon in May.

Looking forward to meeting the active members on here,

    Jenn

Congrats! Loved your video. While I have a journal of my weight loss and measurements, I never took photos at each stage, that was cool. We have lots in common, same goal weight, both like running, both at the high end of the "bounce" range. Wish we lived closer and could be running buddies! I too would love to lose 10 more pounds, but have actually weighed the same for about 2 1/2 years now. Maybe it's where my body wants to be. Or maybe my body wants me to cut out wine!

Welcome Jenn! I am training for a 5K using the C25K program. I start week 3 tomorrow. My goal is to complete my first half marathon by December of this year. Good luck with your marathon training. That is going to be way down the line for me!!

Congrats, your message is very important and inspirational. Sorry about the loss of your mom, I lost mine in 96 from cancer also. No matter how much you prepare, you are never ready for the outcome. Congrats on taking control of your loss and not letting them dictate your future.

I wish I had done more photos as I went through the changes. I have a few but not many immediately pre-surgery.
