Wed 1/18 is the day

Hi,
I'm 62, will have sleeve Wed. Emotions up & down. I have been on liquid diet since 1/4. Ist days were difficult. All had been going well but yesterday I was hungry all day. I stayed with the plan but it was difficult. I'm very eager to have this done & move forward.

It's great reading others posts, it helps a lot.

I will also be having surgery on the 18th. I previously had the sleeve and due to a life change I over-indulged in sweets and carbonated drinks. I tried to get myself under control and tis the reason having a revision from sleeve to gastric bypass.

You will do great and a speedy recovery to you.

3 days post op. I feel good! I had my gall bladder removed about 20 years ago & it feels similar. Working on getting liquid & protein. Yesterday I drank only around 30 oz but ahead of that so far today. I am very blessed to have a good dr & friends checking on me.

How was your surgery? It will 2 weeks wed for me. Feel great. I had no pain.
I do have problems somedays getting my protein. Also I have thrown up a couple of times.
I try to eat very slow, yogurt or pured food. How is your eating?

I am glad that you did well with your surgery. I will be going on Feb. 17th and your comment comparing it to the gallbladder surgery helped my nervousness. I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago and that is still fresh in my mind. Good luck to you and keep us updated on how you are doing/feeling.
