Hi everyone, I just joined the forum. I am seriously considering the gastric sleeve and wanted to see what the experience has been like for those who have.
✨Welcome!✨
Knowing what I know now??? My only regret is that I didn't do the Sleeve Gastrectomy sooner!
Knowing what I know now??? If I had a chance to do it again, I would just be more patient and would not pushed the food stages. I was so worried I would never eat "normal" again. Normal got me to be obese and with all sorts of health problems. I miss the days that two bites got me stuffed! I still cannot eat a whole chicken breast, or a whole 6" subway sandwich, but every time I take an extra bite that I couldn't last month worries me.
Every day that goes by I have to work harder at not returning to my old habits.

Welcome and keep reading.
And then read some more.
And yes, almost everyone here is happy they were sleeved.
But ... the sleeve alone won't fix you. You must commit to a complete new lifestyle change -- nutrition, eating behaviors, and exercise. Also, numerous folks here (including me) have benefitted from therapy that helped them deal with stresses and life situations that contributed to their being obese and would likely make it hard for them to maintain a large weight loss.
As I said, keep reading.
