Tomorrow is the day!

My surgery is tomorrow, and I can not begin to tell how excited I am....a bit nervous to.....I have a wonderful 7 month old grand daughter and a grand son due in February, I am so ready to get healthy again to be able to play and hang with them 2 so I can be the best MiMi I can.

Don't be nervous. I am 7 weeks out and recovery went very well. This time tomorrow you will be on the road to your new post surgery life!

I'm just over 7-months post op and this decision was not made lightly and without personal sacrifices and major changes in my life, which I wish I had done years ago and saved myself years of yo-yo'ing and playing with my health.

I also have young grandchildren, and I hope to live a long and healthy life to enjoy their college graduations, weddings (if they so choose to undertake), and every day moments of each of their lives.

Congratulations on your surgery, I see here where it was one day ago. Prayers definitely sent! I can totally identify with what you are saying about being a good Mimi, my daughter just gave birth to my first grandchild on December 10. My surgery is in three days, I'm hoping by the time he's walking, I will have lost enough weight to be able to keep up with him! Congrats again in prayers for a speedy recovery!
