I was so excited that I lost 30 pounds in 3 weeks, then...week 4, gained 4 pounds then lost it by week 6, now week 7 and 8 at 31 pounds lost.....i've seen more inches go away. i'm only walking bout 2-3 days a week but nothing, no more weight loss, this makes me mad when i can't enjoy food any more but i do enjoy my new complements and that men are looking again, I'm married but everyone likes to turn a couple of heads lol

A temporary weight loss stall is normal. I went through the same thing & I know it's really frustrating.
What helped me with it is I started counting my calories & started keeping better track of my nutrient intake. If I see at the end of the day that I'm getting all my nutrients & my calories are under 1,000 then I know for a fact my weight loss will pick up again soon. I just kept telling myself that and then I started to lose weight again.
Just keep telling yourself you will lose the weight and keep working at it. You've lost a lot already as well so feel proud of yourself!!! One thing that can help cause obesity is negative thoughts about your body. That's when many start to stress eat. Just think this is the new you and be proud of your progress so far. You are 30 pounds down and that's amazing. Doesn't matter as much how long it's taking. As long as you get there

Very normal. I find I stall if I'm not getting enough protein in. And I can only blame myself for that. And while stalls are frustrating, I know I couldn't have gotten to where I am without the surgery. I also check my measurements every 2 weeks. As long as I am seeing progress then I'm okay with that. Some people lose super fast after the surgery and others take longer. As long as we use our tool (the sleeve) properly it will work. Remember we didn't get fat overnight and we won't get skinny overnight either. But I guarantee we couldn't have lost this quickly without our sleeve. Remembering that helps me remain grateful.

I had a stall at the three week mark, I've read that it is VERY common. After about two weeks, I started dropping again. I'm 10 weeks out and have stalled again, but Ive learned that it is temporary. I'm doing everything that I am supposed to be doing, but I think that it takes your body time to adjust. I am sure that I'll be dropping again soon.

I had my surgery November 2nd. I've lost about 57 pounds and I've been stuck here going on two weeks now. I just went back to basics again. Making sure I'm getting all my water, protein, & vitamins in. I think a bunch of factors come into play. The holidays, my cycle etc. I was 288 and I go to the gym 5-6 times a week. Just keep at it. There are days I go up 4/5 pounds and then I'll lose 10. It messes with you. I stopped getting on the scale every day. You're not alone in this. Stalls suck but we're doing it!!! Wishing you the very best! <3

I once gained 3 pounds and sat there for a month. But I lost a whole pant size during that month. The numbers on the scale don't tell the whole story. As soon as i started eating more and drinking more,I lost 8 pounds in like one week. Just stick with protein, get at least 100ounces of fluids and maybe change up some other things (this is an ever evolving adventure with no universal formula) and stay OFF the scale for awhile.

    Keep working your program.

This month I'm fluctuating between 172-175lbs, and my weight loss has been extremely slow in comparison to others here, but I am wearing size 10 and mediums and some brands and size 12 in high end clothing (jerks!). I try not to stress myself by avoiding the scale daily.

I completely agree with Kindle. The more protein and fluids the better the scale is to me.
