Currently in Louisiana for work. My healthcare covers the sleeve im hoping to try and get it before the end of the year..gonna talk to the surgeon tuesday and see if i can get it scheduled or not hopefully before the end of the year since ive already met my deductible for the year.

Hello, I live in Baton Rouge. I leave tomorrow for mexico for the sleeve. I feel like it is the best choice I could have made.

Best wishes on a new you! I went to Mexico in July 2016, and I look like a whole new person! I feel fabulous. I'm down 50 pounds.

Went to the doctor today they said either the 7 or the 14th of December for my surgery date. Wants me to meet up with the dietician once more and I'll watch the seminar onlibe since my schedule doesn't allow for me to go to one in person. Paid the doctor his portion 370$ need to find out how much the surgery center cost will be and I'll basically have everything covered. Insurance pays 85% on average how much was your portion for the hospital/ surgery center? ?

had blood work done today..one step closer!

got a pre-op apt tomorrow. assuming everything goes well with insurance looks like surgery on the 7th of December. gonna get the FMLA paperwork for work turned in as well hopefully

You're going to love this journey, and I'd like to welcome you to the "Losers' Bench". There is a whole new life out there waiting for you to catch it, and after surgery you'll have tons of energy to do so

BTW: It only cost me about $145.00 to have the surgery, it was covered 100% under my health insurance. I paid for my psych evaluation since I wanted a certain therapist that wasn't covered under my insurance. I was fortunate.

All the best to you. I am about 6 weeks post op. I do not regret my decision. Make sure to get the surgeons diet plan and guideline. Attend support group if it is offered. I go once a month. I am excited for you
