Light bleeding at largest incision?

Hello everyone was wondering if anyone else had light bleeding in there largest incision, I'm 8 days post op and feeling good next thing I know my husband said to me what's all over your shirt!!! Yikes it had to be going on for hours. Has this been an issue for anyone else? Did call answering service and was called right back I was told being sleeved and hernia repair there is a lot of stuff that's looking for a place to go and sometimes the incision opens. Weird!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that. No bleeding or oozing or itching or rash whatsoever.

Call your surgeon for sure! They may need to restitch???

Lol your very sweet, it's not to bad it already stopped was told to go to ER with any changes and I have Dr's on Monday thank god!!!

My sis had some light bleeding from that incision. She had to keep a bandaid on it so that she wouldn't get blood on her tops but healed perfectly. Glad you are seeing dr tomorrow!

Bleeding stopped last night and I'm doing well.

That incision probably just pulled apart a bit. All of your insides are making that stuff that is inside a blister right now. When we took out my stithes it was a gusher. Very scary. But there is just so much pressure. As long as it is Clearish and light colored out is fine. Bandage for seeping.

I'm 17 days post op and I have one that bleeds still. Doc said it is fine as long as it doesn't get red and full of puss. I don't have a fever...etc. Everyone heals differently! I'm sure it will be fine!

Yeah I'm fine now no bleeding since yesterday, I think my shirt stuck to it and when I moved it made a tiny hole but now it's fine. Congratulations on 17 days!!!!

Well I landed in the hospital yesterday because it started to bleed and wont stop!!! 5 hours later blood work, CT scan, urine draw, it was determined that I had a large hematoma that was close to the surface and wanted to escape so it did!!! They said everything was good internally but I may bleed a little her and there for a few days. I bleed threw my pants and shirt ruined a towel but I'm fine now. Other then that I'm doing great.
