having surgery in mexico... follow up care?

My experience with the sleeve was tolerable. I'm glad I did it, but there were some easy fixes they could look at in order to do it in a more comfortable manner.
What went wrong with your eyelids? Are they finished healing? What exactly did you have done?

Ouch! I sure hope they are able to fix things. That has to be a let down, I'm sorry. They definitely need to work on the after care

i highly recommend having your pcp on board and also following up every 3 months w/blood work. i have had a high count on my liver enzymes as of late and seeing gastric physician to determien what in fact is causing the problem.

My PCP took out my stitches. I told her of my plan and she was on board for the most part.

I have been going to the same oncologist (10 year cancer survivor!!! YEAH!) for 10 years and he died of a sudden heart attack this past Spring. So, I just met the Dr. who is taking his place a couple of weeks ago. I didn't tell her-I figure when I go in March for my 6 month check up I will discuss it with her then. And hopefully I will have taken off a substantial amount of weight by then!! Getting sleeved on 10/20! Only 3 more weeks.

I told my dermatologist because she is so compassionate. She said she will take care of my stitches and help to ensure I take the right vitamins for "fabulous results" (she says!)! She was so sweet and great about it.
