Hi I am looking to connect with people locally who are just starting the journey. I am trying to decide on a surgeon in mexico right now.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that I used Dr. E. Ortiz in 2013 and my daughter just had the sleeve with him last July. He is great. No problems for either of us. Good luck to you.

Hi I was born in Portland I now live in San Diego I had surgery just a month ago. I also went down to Tijuana Mexico I was so amazed on how clean the facility was and how much they cared about me. From the min I called Melenie until now. I was treated like I was a fam member of their own.
Even the transpertation was great they went and picked me up on time and got me to the facility as fast as they could to get me started as soon as possible.
I was in and out of surgery in no time they get the work down and after the surgery they are always asking how you feel and if you need something ect.
I do not know to much on other Doctors but I did do a lot of research on other doctors but I would call them and get no answer or they would give my a price and then they would give me another, so a lot of doctors in Mexico have hidden prices so you got to be careful on that. I had surgery with Dr. Sergio Quinones and I also did a lot of research on him as well. I found that for me this guy was the one for me. We are all different but I really liked that they are run by a American industry. He uses all Johnson and Johnson material. And he even teaches other doctors to do bariatric surgery. Good luck on decided on if you plan to have surgery in Mexico or not but Mexico is safe and clean. You really do not have nothing to be scared of. I can not pick a doctor for you because we all are different and we have to make our own disesion but if I could I would recommend a doctor I would strongly recommend my doctor he really is a great guy him and his staff are awesome.
