Biggest Loser NSV

Hello all, just returned from a sales meeting with my company. We have a group of 10 managers that get together twice a year and we always do a team building exercise.

First of all everyone was amazed at how much weight I had lost. I did talk to our CEO and explained the restrictions our company has on this surgery, Imreally hope he chooses to cover it in our policy next year. Any way, the team building event was a Zip Line Canopy Tour. Had I not had the surgery I would not have been able to participate. In fact because I am scared of heights my weight is what I used to get out of stuff like this...

I freaking zip lined! As high up as 100 feet on some and as long as around 300-400 yards on the finally...my nickname this year was The Biggest Loser...& it wasn't just because my region is in the red on sales this year (damn oil markets).

That my friends is a major NSV!

Now I'm looking for places to take my son...now that I can do it!

If you are on the fence, all I can say is my only regret is not doing this sooner. Follow the doctors orders. Follow the dietician...and damnit go enjoy life!

Congrats, I can only imagine what an amazing feeling you had/have. Very insightful knowing all the added joys and life one gains back after surgery.

"Enjoy life" -- you hit the nail on the head. That's the best thing I've gotten out of surgery, the opportunity to do things I couldn't do before and enjoy life much more deeply! It's an amaaaazing feeling.
