Hi! I'm 2 days post surgery and so sore and hurting a lot lol. I know it's normal I'm just excited to be here on the losing side!!
The first 2 days are when most of the pain occurs. Give yourself a few more days. It will probably be gone. Just remember, no lifting. I had to lift a car battery and it tightened my stitches inside on the stomach muscles causing some sharp pains for a couple of days. Big mistake. Good luck
How are you doing Ddoodles.?Thanks for the info on what to expect at the hospital. Hosp Angeles and Dr Corvala exceeded expectations. Hosp Angeles was as good as promised. Everyone was so professional and nice. The process was low key, prompt and worth the cost. I felt like I was getting the same care that I would have received at a major hospital in NYC. There were some differences but very minor.I believe they are about to be JCI accredited soon which is a big deal. I get discharged on Sunday and hang out 2 nites in the hospital.
I'm still doing really well. I Started run/walking few weeks back. I was a runner several years ago and want to resume it. I'm so excited you get to have your time now. I was thinking about how I always turned to food for comfort.....the VSG changes that pattern, at least for me. IM MUCH HAPPIER, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Keep us posted.
