Not so funny or is it !!!!!

Since my WLS , I still try to avoid caffine and do not drink soda.
Always looking for something different to drink ..
My friend took be to a Mall that I had never been at before.
They had a tea shop which sells loose leaf teas ..actually I should not say leaf" since there is dried fruits,and even editable plants..
They had about image.jpg10 different tea pots or canisters with fresh made teas. . Both cold and hot ..
We loved one of them... Figured I could drink a cup or 2 of this decaf tea to help with my required fluid intake ..
Sounds good right.....Well ,I am hearing impaired but usually do okay if I watch when somebody speaks ..
Today I may have not watched good enough..I thought the sales person said $16.00 a pound..
I told him to mix me two , half pound bags..one for me , one for my friend.
I made a BIG mistake ..He had said "$60.00 a pound ...so now I am sipping my $60.00
A pound great for sleeve tea!!!
Picture is of the tea.... Is smells and taste so good ! Flavored decaf teas are a great after surgery drink!

hahaha!! The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago..wanting a new taste..I was in Teavanna drinking this fabulous tea..and decided to take some home..$80 later..(I about flipped!) not realizing that it was even possible..I gave it to my daughters so we can drink tea together..lol

Gosh, I thought my organic / light roast / whole bean decaf & leaded was a bit pricey! Wowee it must be really really good at that price!

I drink a lot of sleepy time tea now, every night. I wasn't this much of a fan before my sleeve. This is what I have transitioned to for a bedtime snack - no more pigging out at bedtime since my sleeve thank goodness. Will have to try it if I ever come across a teavana around here.

I was walking through the mall and they were giving out samples - that ended up costing me $80 too!!! LOL but I do love it.

I'll stick to my Starbucks or 8 O'clock whole bean coffees at $15 -$18 for a 40oz bag at BJ's Wholesale Club.

I've shopped Teavanna and I'm sure the image of me standing there with the shocked look on my face after hearing their prices is still funny to them. Their teas are good but I learned quickly you only buy a few ounces. If I understand correctly Teavanna is owned by Starbucks. If they don't have your coffee business their goal is to get your tea business. Oprah's Chi Tea was $16 per pound so I declined.

Guess I'll stick to my Bigelow and Twinings! I've fallen in love with Constant Comment and Irish Breakfast teas.

Woswer, I don't they have that tea here in AK, I geuss I consider my self lucky. You can do cheaper, just get teh Keurig teas, they do have decaf...
