Pre op question

I postponed my sleeve until 1/10. I have started my fast a little early. My question is I'm drinking protein shakes, broth broth broth, Popsicles . Nothing is added sugar. All sugar free! I added a banana to my protein shake in morning. Am I messing up ? So many protein shakes have carbs in them. So will the carb level mess me up with my surgery ? I have hated every pre made shake I've tried. I
Mine not only tastes better but I don't have the loose stool I get from the pre made ones either. Every doctor has a dfferent pre op diet. Any advice out there?

My nutritionist and surgeon protein powders have carbs in them. 7g to be exact, but only 1g of sugar. I bet you'll be ok.

My advice is follow your own surgeon/nut protocol.

My nutritionist said not to add anything to the shakes in the pre-op phase but as Greenmomma states you should follow your own surgeon/nutritionist protocol.

I haven't liked any I have tried except the adkins! chocolate royale and milk chocolate.... 160 cal, 9g fat, and 6carbs, 15g protein. they taste great! If you like chocolate I recommend those
