Just curious If anyone else spits up this foamy like fluid when they eat to much. Its not bile, it doesn't burn, it's not solid it's just like foam. Haven't read about this or if I did I miss understood.
Lol! I am still having it, though less than immediately following surgery. It bubbles up and gets stuck in my throat like a giant gas bubble.
I take a Nexium in the morning and half a Zantac in mid to late afternoon, and it keeps it pretty much under control. I can actually hear it bubbling inside me, BUT that's a small price to pay for the benefits afforded by this surgery...I am hoping it will eventually stop!
Slimies and foamies.
Yes, those are really the terms people have given them. Depends on how many air bubbles "it" contains.
Usually, they're short-lived. They don't last forever.
LOL!

Eek! Sorry to hear that. I didn't realize they could last that long.

I get this when I eat too fast. I work in a very fast paced environment, and in the military they taught us to eat FAST, and boy was I good at that.
So its a big adjustment for me to eat SLOW. A lot of days I don't eat anything but a handful of almonds. But when I do, if I eat too fast, I get the slimies and they come up on me. This has happened 3 times, but I have come close on 5 other occasions. I find it hard to remember LITTLE BITES, and EAT SLOW. Old habits die hard. But 8 times in 80 plus days, I guess its manageable.
So you are not alone my friend, just a side effect. Gotta learn to live differently.
