I had no intentions of getting pregnant at all!!! This was a shock to me as well as my fiance. The doctor said I was ok since my weight has stabled and I am at lease 12 months post op. My problem is this morning sickness is killing me. My surgeon checked my stomach and said its a little irritated from the throwing up, but I am ok to continue with the pregnancy. Has anyone else gotten pregnant after surgery? Any advice or pointers?

A lot of people use this time as an excuse to put on lots of weight. The baby doesn't need your extra body fat. Just eat more frequently and vow not to put on more than 15 pounds. I never did and I had 5 kids. My weight came on when the last left for school. It was sad for me.

Congratulations! That is fantastic news.
I would like to offer you advise, but it would be one of those biblical miracles if I got pregnant, I am a guy.
Inside some of us is a thin person struggling to get out, but they can usually be sedated with a few pieces of chocolate cake.
