I am so happy that I found this site, there is so much information and support!
After years of dieting, yo-yoing up and down and finally getting to a high of 310 in February of 2013 I was absolutely fed up. Through lots of calorie counting and physician prescribed plans and medications I have managed over the past year to get to 285 (more or less a couple pounds). Problem is that despite my best efforts I am unable to lose more. I suffer severe low back pain along with foot and ankle pain that makes life pretty miserable. I have thought about and researched WLS for years and finally brought it up when I got my physical and whadda you know my doctor thought it was a good idea and sent me a referral that day! I have my first consultation/informative meeting this coming Tuesday and I am so excited! I am trying to keep ahead of the game and gather all the information and advice I can
