Surgery is tomorrow 11/22/10

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I made my first goal of 150 pounds. I don't think I will lose much more if any. I am very thankful for the sleeve. I would do it again in a minute if I had to.

Was wondering if you could tell me how tall you are. Our starting weight is just about the same and I can't wait to one day look as lovely as you.

Keep me posted. Do you have your surgery scheduled?
My original goal was 150, but I went to 149 so I'm shooting for 145.
If I don't make that, I'm ok with it.

I feel great where I am now.

Not yet. I have my psych appt and surgeon appt on June 28th. I'm not sure how long after that it takes to be scheduled for surgery. I'm hoping for July or August...And they both seem way too far off. My goal is 150. Honestly, I just want to be able to move again without discomfort - I'm not really fixed on a number!

I know it seems like a long way off. But it will get here before you know it. I hope they schedule you the soonest they can. I know mine was scheduled fairly soon after my insurance was approved. And the day crept up on me before I knew it. I had that feeling in the back of my mind that something would happen and I wouldn't be able to have it. But it finally happened. I tried to get approved for Lap Band like 5 years ago but my insurance denied it. So I tried again for the sleeve and was approved. I've learned to just never give up!
I know what you mean about being able to move again. You will feel so much better once you have the surgery and feel better about yourself. I have been told I look years younger and a lot healthier. Talk about an confidence boost. I have more energy, more self esteem. And I'm not depressed any more.
