What are you looking forward to AFTER?

I was wondering, what are you guys most looking forward to after you lose your weight? Any goals or things you've always dreamed of doing that weight has kept you from? OR have you already reached your goals and achieved some?

A couple of mine, as odd as they are . . .

Being able to ride the Harry Potter Ride at Universal!
Scuba Diving!

Hello From Ireland! im Pre op... My dreams after weight loss are many! have had plenty of time to think of them all! I would like to ride a bike again...and join a cycling club..also, I would like to go to Nashville TN and also visit my friend in Memphis! and not to have to ask for a belt extension!
I would also like to be able to take my dog out for a long walk..all by myself!!

I am ashamed to say this but I am most looking forward to being able to go to a public restroom and into a regular size stall and not feel like I'm bumping into the walls of the stall. Its such a gross feeling!!!! Also I will be glad to go out with my handsome husband of 29 years and not feel like everyone is saying, "what is he doing with her??". I need a serious dose of self esteem. Loosing weight and keeping it off is the cure!!

Dreams -

Be on stage more as a vocalist.
Be on stage more as a speaker.
Write under my own name instead of primarily editing or ghostwriting to avoid the above.
Dance more.
Play with my kids more.
Get and ride a road bike and a mountain bike.
Hike the Appalachian Trail.
Study Naturopathic Medicine and become an ND.
Own multiple B&B locations.
Wear more stylish clothes. (Why do they make plus size clothes so hideous and gaudy? Do I really deserve six inch hibiscus flowers decorating my chest?)
Buy cashmere and angora sweaters in all my favorite colors. =)
Do more outreach work with various organizations I'm connected to. Right now my main role is to listen to those who need help, identify what the project needs and to manage volunteers/teams. It would be nice to actually "do" more of the work.

I'm echoing Kierra, but not worrying about sitting on things - I was really scared with a pool/deck chair today!!
Wearing cute dresses (I'm wearing a dress today, but I wouldn't call it cute...at least not with me in it!!)

It's really amazing all the simple things we want to do. . . that other people take for granted. To just fit in a chair comfortably or to not have a seat belt extension or just be able to wear a sundress (that one's not for me! Hehe). I think it's great to always keep those things in our minds on those weak days before surgery and even on those that will someday follow.

It's time to love yourselves, people!!! We can do this!!!!
