Anyone else getting sleeved during the week of June 26th?

Hi all! I just got my date to be sleeved -- June 26th. Words can't express how excited and hopeful I am about this! I'd love to have a buddy to go with through the process. If you're getting sleeved the same week, let me know!

That's very exciting! I might be getting sleeved that same week. Actually, I was hoping to do it the 11th or 18th of June but it's looking more like the 25th for me. I would be happy to go through this with you! Did you get your pre-op diet yet?

I'm so glad you all responded! Yes, let's do this together!!! In fact, it doesn't matter if it's the same week or not. Great, positive and friendly people need others like them to get through a challenge, so let's rock this! RoxFC, yes, I have my pre-op diet. All liquids. I value simplicity over variety to keep things easy, so I'm just having the same thing every day -- Dr. Atkins shake, V8 soup and jello. Plus, lots and lots of water.

I leave for vacation today, but I'm staying focused. Even though I don't have to start until two weeks prior to surgery, I want to get a head start now. What about you all? When are you starting your pre-op diets?

I am having mine on June 24th. I would love to share this journey with you. I have my nutrition class and all my pre-op testing on the 13th. I'm very excited.

Lovely: my pre-op diet consists of 3 protein shakes and one meal (protein, veggie, and carb) for 2-3 weeks before the surgery. I only have to do clear liquids only 24 hours before the surgery. I'm going to start my diet on June 4th. It's going to be rough but I really want to follow doctor's orders so that I can avoid complications. Best of luck!

I'm going in June 25th. I had my first group nutrition Tuesday and hope to get my pre-op diet during my visit next Thursday. They also took 17 vials of pre-op blood! I also have all the pre-op testing next Thursday. My last appointments before surgery are June 3rd so I guess after that I am on my own until June 25th, it will be nice to have a group to chat with.
