Default Two week stall OVER!!!- 7th week post-op

I forced myself not to come on here the past few weeks because I didn't want to be another one of the many freaking out about his or her first stall (though I totally was!).

For two weeks, as I transitioned into regular food, the scale did not move a bit. I was getting really, really depressed. Finally, this week has shown some movement, and I'm down 3 more lbs. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I'm finally in the 160's and can't wait to explore the lower end of them. I'm so, so excited!!!!!

Don't be afraid to come on here and freak out. Even though we probably already know deep down that it will break and we need to stay strong and we are doing everything right, it always feels better to actually hear it from others. This is a support group and we are all here to lean on each other when we get discouraged and cheer each other on through our victories. So with that said, congrats on getting moving again! It's a good feeling. I just lost the first lb in over two weeks this morning too, so I totally get how you feel right now. It's a good day Keep up the good work.

Its cool to freak out in here..Stall is a new meaning in my vocabulary...I've seen that word so much since i was sleeved..Its just what we do like breathe, drink, eat, play and now stall...Your doing great! BTW I am pretty sure as small as you are it may be a little slower than some of us..Dont fret it just kick back and enjoy the view..

I force myself to come on here. I love the inspiration and encouragement shared by others going through the same thing. I am in a 3 month stall and it sucks! But I live for the NSV's now!

    Keep up the good work!

Oh, this makes me feel so much better. I really thought stalls didnt happen until you got closer to your ideal weight. I'm glad I am not alone! Thanks

I have also been stalled for the past three weeks, but I keep noticing my NSV -- my son noticing that my butt and legs are skinnier! A friend, who I haven't seen since August, noticed that I'd lost a lot of weight -- what a confidence booster! Going out to lunch with a friend and only being able to eat the side (was offered cottage cheese instead of fruit, salad, or fries) -- because I knew I could take my tuna melt home for another two meals! Being able to make holiday treats and not be tempted to eat them. I know that the scale is going to move in its own sweet time -- after all it took me years to gain this weight and it will take time to come off. Happy Holidays!

Sorry for the delay in response, but thanks so, so much for your support! I really appreciate it!! Dos_Proc, you're certainly not alone! Jill, hope your stall ends soon!!!

And, Cindy, congratulations!! I just tried on a bunch of clothes that I kept from my lowest weight in adulthood (160) and all are starting to fit! NSV are awesome (though I totally admit I tend to be a slave to the numbers). :/

Let's all make a promise to never ever stop coming on here, no matter what situation we find ourselves in. I for one have learned that forcing my self to come back is the best thing i have done for a while. We need each other and we need to learn the good and the bad along the way. I just love my sleeve family.
