My libido died, funeral to follow?

My libido has DIED since surgery. My boyfriend is supportive. Heck - he paid for the surgery. But he is concerned. He is 6 years younger and still wants it daily. I was horny daily until after surgery. Then - nothing. And - I'm dry as a bone no matter what! I sure hope it changes soon. I'm 4 months post-op. Any ideas or suggestions?

Well you don't say how old you are, but you may want to discuss with your doc and have your hormone levels tested with a blood test. If hormones are out of whack that could be contributing to the dryness. Are you getting in the required amount of fluids everyday, that may also contribute to the dryness. Are you taking a good multi-vitamin? I hope you can figure something out. Good Luck.

I'm 49 and I had a hysterectomy in 2001. I do take a multivitamin, but I'm not consistent with it. I do carry around a water jug, drinking of water often.

No matter your age it can be hormones mine have been all over the place since surgery its like my body doesnt know what to do at times. I will say Coconut oil works wonders LOL its helps with any excess skin moisturizing and it helps with dryness.

When I mentioned dryness, I was referring to vaginal dryness. LOL! T"MI?

the dryness is normal after surgery, and can last for a month or more. mine came back about four weeks along...i'm 48. libido is a different story though, that has a million reasons it can go, from depression, to medications, to most commonly vitamin deficiencies. definitely mention it to your doctor.

Well I think you better get it figured out soon. Making a younger guy wait 4 months is not good. I hope you have a found a way to give it up even though your not totally into it. Maybe some BJ's! and I think women your age need lube anyway so get some..
